1、 dimethyl silicone oil

Simple dimethyl silicone oil as a leveling agent, because of its limited compatibility and poor use of safety, in the application of paint has many unavoidable drawbacks, can not adapt to the needs of the coating industry. In order to solve these shortcomings, a variety of modified silicone leveling agents came into being.

2、 polyether modified silicone flow ping agent

The disadvantage of this kind of leveling agent is that the thermal stability is not good. When the baking temperature is higher than 150℃, it will decompose and lose its due characteristics, and cause the adhesion of the coating to decline and the adhesion problem between layers.

3、 organic modified organic silicon flow ping agent

Organic groups, such as alkyl, phenyl, etc. are usually introduced on the side groups of the main chain. This kind of leveling agent can provide good high temperature resistance, polyester modification and aryl alkyl modification of the thermal stability of more than 220℃, can be used in powder coatings and heat curing coatings. In addition to the excellent leveling property of the coating and the smoothness of the coating surface, the aryl-alkyl modified silicone can also help the matting powder, aluminum powder and other metal pigments to arrange in a directional manner to prevent the uneven luster of the coating film.

4、 reactive silicone

Synthetic at one or both ends of the siloxane chain, or at the end of the organic modified groups with reactive groups (such as primary hydroxyl, vinyl, epoxy or isocyanate group) of silicone, can make these products and coating resin crosslinking reaction and firmly combined with the film and covered on the surface of the film, so that it improves the smooth coating, luster and anti-adhesion effect is more lasting.

5、 water-based coating with organic silicon flow leveling wetting agent

Generally modified short chain polysiloxane, usually does not provide feel and smoothness, does not affect the adhesion between layers, reduce surface tension ability is very strong, has excellent shrinkage hole resistance and substrate wetting ability.
