Features and advantages:

RT-3312 hydrophobic modified alkali soluble emulsion thickener can be used as the main thickener or cooperative thickener of waterborne coatings. Rt-3312 can effectively improve the viscosity of Kreb Units in the middle shear at relatively low dosages. The fluidity and leveling performance of the coating were improved when rT-3312 was used alone as thickener compared with the middle and high molecular weight cellulose thickener.

Adding a small amount of surfactant or ether cosolvent to reduce the low shear viscosity (Brookfield) can change the rheological properties of RT-3312, so as to further improve the fluidity and leveling of the coating.

RT-3312 is recommended for multi-color paint, compared with conventional alkali swelling thickener, thickening efficiency is higher, suspension is better, more loose good atomization, consumption, water resistance is better, RT-3312 can be used in exterior wall paint and art paint.

Product specifications:

Recommended dosage:add 0.3~0.7% to the total amount of paint (finished product form), the specific dosage should be subject to the experiment;

Usage:Before use, adjust the PH value of the thickening system to 8 ~ 9 with ammonia water, then dilute RT-3312 with water in the proportion of 1:2~3, and add it slowly and stir it fully at low speed.

Packing: 25 kg or 50 kg plastic drum/ton drum.

Storage:the product should be sealed and placed in a cool, dry and ventilated place. If it cannot be used all at once, tighten the lid after use to prevent caking or crusting.
