RF-7505 is a silicone surface additive used in solvent-free, radiation-curing, solvent-based coating systems, adhesives and printing inks to greatly reduce surface tension. Contains hydroxyl functional group, does not contain solvent.

○ Low surface tension, increase smoothness, substrate wetting and tape stripping.

○ Compatible with acrylic resin, alkyd resin, amide, epoxy resin, nitrocellulost, phenolic resin, polyester resin and ethylene systems

○ The effect lasts longer through the reaction of hydroxyl groups with resins

Application fields:

RF-7505 reacts with hydroxyl groups to bind with resin, mainly used in solvent-based and solvent-free two-component polyurethane systems, UV curing coatings, polyester/melamine baking coatings systems, and a series of water-based systems. High compatibility makes this additive suitable for producing high transparency clear coatings without causing haze.

〇 RF-7505 is particularly suitable for wood and furniture coatings, canned paint; also suitable for roofing coatings and leather finishing agents.

Recommended dosage: 0.05-1% additive dosage (purchased form) based on the total formula.

〇 RF-7505 is especially recommended for topcoat clear coatings, flexographic inks, offset inks, and screen printing inks. It can improve the adhesion of the tape in topcoat clear coatings. It is also suitable for printing inks used in high-speed printing machines.

Recommended dosage: 0.05-2% additive dosage (purchased form) based on the total formula.

Instructions for Use:

〇 The levelling agent can be pre-diluted or added directly to the paint according to the supplied form.

〇 The additive can be added at any stage of the production process, including post-addition.

〇 Special Precautions:

When the paint is used outdoors, weathering will remove the top layer of resin and additive from the coating. Tests must be conducted to determine whether these conditions allow the additive to be effective for a sufficient period of time. To allow the additive to incorporate its functional groups into the paint system, the coating must be carefully and evenly sanded before recoating or repair to ensure adequate adhesion.
