Features and advantages:

8W is a non-ionic polyurethane thickening and leveling agent with excellent thickening and leveling performance. It is suitable for medium and low PVC and low VOC systems. It can effectively improve medium and low shear viscosity, and has appropriate thickening ratio.

The 8W design is designed for a wide range of coating formulations and can be used to prepare interior and exterior coatings from matte to high gloss. It performs well in acrylic, pure acrylic and acrylic acetate systems and is particularly suitable for high gloss, hard surface finish systems that do not cause defects such as fogging and provide excellent leveling and film plumpness.

8W and alkali swelling thickener have excellent formula compatibility, with cellulose collocation please stagger their contribution to the viscosity of the system, so that the coating designer can according to the required performance of the free choice of collocation of cellulose thickener and alkali swelling thickener. It is not recommended to use 8W as a thickener alone, but as a synergistic thickener to obtain excellent fluidity and has the following advantages:

* Low foaming, good film forming, high transparency, no fog and other defects

* Effectively improve medium and low shear viscosity, excellent brush lag, film fullness, splash resistance, water resistance and water separation resistance

Product specifications:

Application: water-based adhesive, water-based glazing oil, water-based ink, interior and exterior latex paint, leather coating, other water-based systems

Recommended dosage: add 0.0.5~0.5 % to the total amount of paint (finished form), the specific dosage should be subject to the experiment.

Application method: 8W can be added directly, it is recommended to dilute with ethylene glycol (or propylene glycol) by 1: 2~5, and add slowly at low speed stirring. It is recommended to add before adding the emulsion for high gloss presentation.

Packing: 25/50 kg plastic drum.

Storage: the product should be sealed and placed in a cool, dry and ventilated place. If it cannot be used all at once, tighten the cover after use to prevent solvent volatilization.
