First, the industry pain point: the environmental protection and efficiency bottleneck of traditional drying agents
Traditional polyurethane coatings rely on organotin catalysts (such as T-12, T-9), which can accelerate curing, but there are two core problems:
Toxicity risk: Organotin compounds have reproductive toxicity and environmental accumulation, and the EU REACH regulation has listed them as restricted substances;
Process defects: High temperature curing demand (≥25℃) leads to high energy consumption, and problems such as slow curing, bubbles, and bulges are prone to occur at low temperatures (<10℃) or high humidity environments.
It is estimated that coating enterprises using T-12 increase the cost of about 12-18% per year due to excessive VOC fines and equipment energy consumption losses.
2. RK-Chem solution: organic bismuth/zirconium composite catalytic system

1. Non-toxic environmental protection, through international certification
Metal-organic compounds such as bismuth iso-octoate and zirconium neodecanoate are used, and toxic components such as lead, mercury and tin are completely discarded.
Through the EU REACH, Qualicoat Class II certification, VOC emissions are reduced by 90% compared with traditional processes.
2. Low temperature and quick drying to widen the construction window
At a low temperature of 5℃, the surface drying time is less than 20 minutes, which is more than 50% shorter than T-12;

3. Inhibit side reactions and improve coating performance
Selectively catalyze the NCO-OH main reaction, reduce the side reaction between NCO and water, and avoid the formation of CO₂ bubbles;
The hardness of the paint film is increased by 2-5A, the water resistance is extended to 60 days without foaming, and the salt spray test is ≥1000 hours.
