Features and advantages:

RT-3634 is one of the associated alkali swelling thickeners series, which is characterized by low odor, environmental protection and APE0 free compounds.

RT-3634 has high low and medium shear viscosity thickening efficiency and excellent anti-flow performance. It is widely used in water-based construction, adhesives, textile and paper coatings. Its viscosity occurs by neutralizing to a PH of 7-9. RT-3634 is a cost-effective cellulose thickener alternative. Compared with cellulose type thickener, it has higher spatter-resistance and greater pseudoplastic rheological properties. At the same time, its use can improve the stability of the coating to microorganisms and enzymes, and can protect the substrate surface more effectively and extend the coating life.

RT-3634 products are especially suitable for interior wall matte to silk paint, and can be used in combination with RT-3637 to achieve the ideal balance at different cutting rates of low, medium and high. Its high pseudoplastic rheological properties can strengthen the structure of the tank to avoid settling or hanging, and it is widely used in the preparation of paint or adhesive systems with moderate three-dimensional pattern effect and thick coating applications.

Usage:

RT-3634 has excellent compatibility with many other thickeners. Its high low and medium shear viscosity thickening efficiency and excellent anti-flow properties are particularly suitable for large particle size emulsions, low solid content and relatively high PVC formulations. In many formulations, RT-3634 can be used as a synergic thickener to achieve the best balance between high, medium, and low shear viscosity and improve the paint's resistance to flow.

The amount of use of this product is determined according to the customer's formula design, and the recommended addition amount is 0.3%-1.2%. Customers can combine with other thickeners according to different requirements on production, storage, construction and film formation to meet the rheological performance requirements of formula design. In paint production, RT-3634 is generally added when mixing paint, but customers can also determine according to actual production conditions. In the production conditions of insufficient mixing, the construction water is used to dilute the product. Under normal conditions, the thickening efficiency of the product will reach equilibrium after a few hours, if the viscosity exceeds the design index, a small amount of surfactant or glycol ether co-solvent can be added to reduce the viscosity.

Storage:

The product should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse under closed conditions, and certain anti-freezing measures should be taken during winter storage and transportation (if frozen, it can continue to be used after proper mixing after defreezing). The recommended storage temperature is 1-49℃.

Validity :18 months (under specified storage and transportation conditions). This product does not belong to the chemical dangerous goods, according to the transport regulations of non-hazardous chemicals.
