RT-3636 is one of the associated alkali swelling thickeners series, which is characterized by low odor, environmental protection and APE0 free compounds.

RT-3636 organically combines the characteristics of association thickening and water phase thickening, with high efficiency of medium and low shear viscosity thickening efficiency and good leveling performance, especially suitable for interior wall coating formulations and adhesive systems with low emulsion volume formulations. Compared with medium and high molecular weight cellulose thickeners, the use of RT-3636 can improve the fluidity and leveling performance of the coating, improve the splash resistance of the coating, improve the stability of microorganisms and enzymes, and effectively reduce the cost of raw materials.

1. Fast and excellent medium shear (KU) viscosity and low shear viscosity thickening efficiency, excellent anti-hanging and leveling performance; Especially suitable for interior wall coating formulations with low emulsion volume.

2. With efficient accretion effect, compared with cellulose, the flow, flow level and anti-splash performance are more worrying, and the formula cost is lower.

Usage:

The amount of use of this product is determined according to the customer's formula design, and the recommended addition amount is 0.3%~1.5% of the total formula. Customers can also use other thickeners according to different requirements on production, storage, construction and film formation to meet the rheological performance requirements of the formula design. It is recommended to use a PH in the 7-9 system, if the system PH value is lower than 7, it is recommended to use polyurethane thickener products.

Waterborne building or textile coatings use precautions:

1. Adjust the pH value of the system to 8-9;

2. Dilute with water at a ratio of 1:1;

3. Stir at low speed, slowly add the diluted RT-3636 to the specified viscosity:

4. It can be used alone or in combination with other thickeners, such as RT-3629 and RT-3637, which provide high shear viscosity, to achieve the ideal balance of viscosity under different shear rates;

5. Adding a small amount of surfactant or glycol ether cosolvent to reduce the low shear viscosity can change the rheological property of RT-3636, and adding some pre-dispersed pigments (pastes) can also produce this effect.

Storage:

The product should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse under closed conditions, and certain anti-freezing measures should be taken during winter storage and transportation (if frozen, it can continue to be used after proper mixing after defreezing). The recommended storage temperature is 1-49℃. Validity :18 months (under specified storage and transportation conditions). This product does not belong to the chemical dangerous goods, according to the transport regulations of non-hazardous chemicals.
