Features and advantages:

RT-3635 is one of the associated alkali swelling thickeners series, which is characterized by low odor, environmental protection and APE0 free compounds.

RT-3635 has efficient thickening efficiency of low and medium shear viscosity and excellent anti-flow performance. It is widely used in water-based coatings and water-based adhesive systems for construction and textile. Its viscosity occurs by neutralizing to pH 7-9. Compared with cellulose type thickener, it has higher spatter-resistance and greater pseudoplastic rheological properties. At the same time, its use can improve the stability of the coating to microorganisms and enzymes, and can protect the substrate surface more effectively and extend the coating life.

The RT-3635 products are especially suitable for matte to silky coatings on interior walls. When used with RT-3637, it can achieve the ideal balance at different shear rates of low, medium and high. Its high pseudoplastic flow absorption properties can strengthen the structure of the tank to avoid settling or hanging, and it is widely used in the preparation of paints with moderate three-dimensional pattern effect and thick coating applications.

Usage:

RT-3635 has excellent compatibility with many other glass improvers. Its high low and medium shear viscosity thickening efficiency and excellent anti-flow properties are particularly suitable for large particle size emulsions, low solid content and relatively high PVC formulations. In many formulations, RT-3635 can be used as a synergistic thickener to achieve the best balance between high, medium, and low shear stations and improve the paint's resistance to flow.

The amount of use of this product is determined according to the customer's formula design, and the recommended addition amount is 0.3%~1.2%. Customers can combine with other thickeners according to different requirements on production, storage, construction and film formation to meet the rheological performance requirements of formula design. In paint production, RT-3635 is generally added when mixing paint, but customers can also determine according to actual production conditions. In the production conditions of insufficient mixing, it is recommended to dilute the product with water before use. Under normal conditions, the thickening efficiency of the product will reach equilibrium after a few hours, if the viscosity exceeds the design index, a small amount of surface agent or glycol ether co-solvent can be added to reduce the viscosity.

Storage:

The product should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse under closed conditions, and certain anti-freezing measures should be taken during winter storage and transportation (if frozen, it can continue to be used after proper mixing after defreezing). The recommended storage temperature is 1-49℃. Validity :18 months (under specified storage and transportation conditions). This product does not belong to the chemical dangerous goods, according to the transport regulations of non-hazardous chemicals.
