Features and advantages:

RT-3633 is one of the associated alkali swelling thickeners series, which is characterized by low odor, environmental protection and no APEO compounds.

The RT-3633 product has dual high thickening efficiency for both associated thickening of emulsions and aqueous phase thickening, and can be used as the preferred thickening agent or co-thickening agent for water-based building and textile coatings and water-based adhesives. In relatively low dosage, RT-3633 product in improving the role of low shear viscosity is very significant, with excellent high thixotropic, pseudoplastic rheological holdup, greatly improve the anti-flow performance of latex paint or adhesive, in dilution, viscosity loss is also small. Its viscosity behavior is similar to that of high molecular weight cellulose thickeners (HEC), and it has excellent spatter-resistance and stability against microorganisms and enzymes that cellulose thickeners do not have.

The alkali-neutralized RT-3633 product has a high yield value and gel structure that reappears after the shear force has disappeared, so RT-3633 can be used in a wide range of coating formulations and different collars, including coatings with moderate three-dimensional pattern effects. Higher than the critical PVC of all kinds of low-gloss interior wall coatings, low volume solid containing interior wall coatings, textile coatings, water-based adhesives and printing. It is a low-cost, high-performance alternative to cellulose thickeners.

As with other associated alkali swelling products, it is recommended to use in a pH 7-9 system, if the system PH is lower than 7 or requires higher temperature storage, please use polyurethane thickener products.

Usage:

The amount of use of this product is determined according to the customer's formula design, and the recommended addition amount is 0.3%~1.0% of the total formula. Customers can also use other thickeners according to different requirements on production, storage, construction and film formation to meet the rheological performance requirements of the formula design.

Precautions for use:

1. Due to the efficient thickening performance of RT-3633. Improper use will appear after the thickening phenomenon, the best way to add is to dilute RT-3633 into a concentration of about 5%, and then add it to the system that needs to be thickened after alkali neutralization;

Storage:

The product should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse under closed conditions, and certain anti-freezing measures should be taken during winter storage and transportation (if frozen, it can continue to be used after proper mixing after defreezing). The recommended storage temperature is 1-49℃.
