RT-3637 is one of the associated alkali swelling thickeners series, which is characterized by low odor, environmental protection and APE0 free compounds.

RT-3637 is a high quality product with unique design. Its excellent ICI viscosity thickening efficiency can effectively improve the film forming and hiding performance of the coating, giving the coating outstanding flow and leveling properties, splash resistance and uniform appearance in the cream tank. In the adhesive formulation based on small particle size emulsion or low PV formula coatings and high emulsion, RT-3637 can be used as a fluidic thickener alone. It has excellent compatibility with many other thickeners, and is used in combination with RT-3634 and RT-3635 in medium to high PVC formulations to achieve the best balance between high, medium and low shear viscosity and application performance.

Usage:

RT-3637 has excellent compatibility with many other thickeners. In many high-grade interior coating formulations, it can be used as the main thickener, and the Fuzon coating has excellent film forming, hiding, splash resistance, flow resistance and leveling properties. In the general formulation, the use of such as RT-3634 can improve the coating's flow resistance, film formation, hiding, viscosity stability and many other properties.

The amount of use of this product is determined according to the customer's formula design, and the recommended addition amount is 0.5%~2.0%. Customers can use other thickeners according to different requirements on production, storage, construction and film formation to meet the rheological performance requirements of formula design. In the production of paint, RT-3637 is generally added when mixing paint, but customers can also determine according to the actual production conditions, in the production conditions of insufficient mixing, construction water to dilute the product after use. Under normal conditions, the thickening efficiency of the product will reach equilibrium after a few hours, if the viscosity exceeds the design index, a small amount of surfactant or glycol ether co-solvent can be added to reduce the viscosity.

Storage:

The product should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse under closed conditions, and certain anti-freezing measures should be taken during winter storage and transportation (if frozen, it can continue to be used after proper mixing after defreezing). The recommended storage temperature is 1-49℃.

Validity :18 months (under specified storage and transportation conditions). This product does not belong to the chemical dangerous goods, according to the transport regulations of non-hazardous chemicals.
