Usage:

RT-3628 can be used in different coatings and adhesive formulations, and has excellent compatibility with many other thickeners. In coating formulations with low PVC and small particle size emulsions, RT-3628 is usually used in combination with KU thickeners RT-3629 or RT-3631 to achieve the optimal balance of high, medium and low shear viscosity. In coating or adhesive formulations based on large-particle size emulsions, RT-3628 can be used alone as a leveling agent, KU and ICI thickener. When needed, a small amount of RT-3625 can be used or used in combination with RT-3627 to adjust and improve the paint's resistance to flow.

The amount of use of this product is determined according to the customer's formula design, and the recommended addition amount is 0.3%~2.0%. Customers can use other thickeners according to the different requirements of production, storage, construction and film formation to meet the rheological requirements of the formula design. In paint production, RT-3628 is generally added when mixing paint, and customers can also determine according to actual production conditions. However, if RT-3628 and RT-3629 or RT-3631 are used in the formula at the same time, RT-3629 or RT-3631 should be added first to ensure smooth and rapid thickening effect. RT-3628 should not be used with polyacid homopolymer dispersants.
